Q2

Why do you set up the goal as 10 million yen?

A

We support UNICEF to carry out the health project in Namibia, aiming to help lowering the mortality rate of infants and under-five children. The donation is used for age under 5 children and pregnant mothers in two areas; especially low performing districts of healthcare services. 10 million yen is necessary to carry out the project.

Q3

Why doesn't Omron Healthcare directly make a donation to UNICEF,
instead of calling for participation from consumers in this campaign?

A

We wanted to help gain the recognition and understanding of the health activity to protect children's lives in Namibia through our press announcement, in-store promotions and website communication.
