Omron healthcare devices with built-in Continua certified Bluetooth® wireless technology are ideally suited for Continua-compatible, easy-to-develop health management applications. These devices also support SPP (Serial Port Profile), making them useful for versatile service applications.

Using the Continua stack enables easy development of Continua-compliant applications without knowledge of detailed Continua specifications.

Omron Healthcare's Bluetooth® devices also support SPP (Serial Port Profile). For Windows XP SP2 and later versions, applications can be developed using our DLL. For mobile phones and Linux, applications can be developed by using communication commands which will become available after agreements have been concluded between Omron Healthcare and respective companies.
